Wrapped up like a douche…
Mansfred Mann’s cover of ‘Blinded By the Light’ just came on, and I was inspired to do a little reading about the most commonly mis-heard song lyric (or "mondegreen") of all time, that being the title of this thread.
What I came across was a list, in the Urban Dictionary, of what different people have heard, over the years, instead of the song’s supposed lyric of "Wrapped up like a deuce, another runner in the night." Some of them are genuinely hysterical.

Personally, I always thought they were singing, "Wrapped up like a douche, another rumor in the night."
