Obama: Maybe Bush was right about holding terrorists without trials…

WASHINGTON (AFP) – As part of its plans to close Guantanamo Bay, the Obama administration is considering holding some of the detainees indefinitely and without trial on US soil, US media reported Thursday.
President Barack Obama’s "administration is weighing plans to detain some terror suspects on US soil — indefinitely and without trial — as part of a plan to retool military commission trials that were conducted for prisoners held in Guantanamo Bay," The Wall Street Journal said.

Yes, these suspected terrorists should be held indefinitely without trial.
However, the minute they step on U.S. soil, they are suddenly afforded nearly ALL of the constitutional rights of U.S. citizens–including the rights to lawyers, habeas corpus, and trials in the U.S. civilian justice system.
Now, for all you semi-braindead Liberals, let me explain it to you. The U.S. Supreme Court has ALREADY ruled that people within its jurisdiction have such rights. However, camp Gitmo happens to be OUTSIDE the jurisdiction of the U.S. court system–as are all foreign territories.
So, either you find a replacement for camp Gitmo OUTSIDE the U.S.A.–what country will host it? OR, you bring these terrorists (alleged) to the USA and give them lawyers, access to courts, and the ability to demand speedy trials–which, since the evidence against them was coerced–well, that means RELEASING THEM ONTO THE STREETS OF THE USA.
Got it, now?
