Automating a backup action in XP?
Hi folks,
So I had a minor problem this morning that caused some data loss. It got me concerned that I should have better backups than the online backup system.
Here is what I want to do:
There is a program I have that backs itself up when it closes for the day. The back up file is a different name (it has the day’s date on it) each time, but is always in the same folder.
What I would like to do is have that file backed up to a USB drive or External hard drive when XP shuts down for the day. Is there some way to do this without huge expensive backup programs?
